SUNDAYS ONLY 10AM-1PM
10AM-11AM: Strength & Physical Literacy
aka teach youth how to MOVE with their growing bodies & ensure their bodies are ready/able to handle the demands of playing SPORTS. (decrease chance of injury)
11AM-12PM: PLAY SPORTS!
we emphasize & believe that the only way to build a healthy relationship with SPORTS is to actually play them and have FUN! rather then just doing boring/redundant drills for 3 hours straight (NOT SAYING THAT DRILLS/REPETITION IS A BAD THING, however inorder to keep the youth engaged with the process PLAYING is integral to growth and not burning out too early in a athletic career).
12-1PM: SPORT SPECIFIC SKILLS
here we have community coaches/pro athletes/ncaa athletes come in and teach specific skills related to our sport of the week, for the most part basketball is our focus but we do also teach rugby, volleyball, and soccer skills.
